Welcome to the August edition of 'in the klick'. August is our favourite month at Klick, it never disappoints! We have so much to celebrate and look forward to; Sydney's City2Surf, Klick's birthday and with Spring Racing + Summer right around the corner, August gives us a renewed focus and energy.

Vogue Fashion's Night Out

Spotted: Fashion lovers and shopaholics all over Sydney reverting to packed lunches and tinned soup. Why, you ask? Well it's because they are saving their clams for the shopping event of the year: VOGUE Fashion Night's Out!

Hitting our shores for the first time, Sydneysiders will be treated to in-store events, fashion shows, pop-ups and exclusive offers throughout the CBD. It is the ultimate global shopping celebration, happening in 16 cities worldwide including New York, Paris, Milan and Tokyo.

And the best part? You'll be shopping for good! All proceeds from this Gap T-Shirt (as seen on Rosemary Smith, $25) will go to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.

Tales from the Twippers

Thanks to Sydney-Melbourne Touring, last month the Klickers led a troupe of 'Travelling Tweeters' down the South Coast of NSW, and through the hearts and kitchens of all who stood in the way.

Over an action packed weekend, we clinked steins with a brewer , got the VIP treatment at a brand-spanking new hotel, walked amongst the treetops , ate a million breakfasts, tasted Chambourcin for the first time, bounced on a giant pillow , found a fudge fridge, made mates with dolphins and whales, and had a night out at the most pimpin' RSL we ever did see.

Big thanks to all the Twippers who were brave enough to board our bus, and to our friends at Wollongong Tourism and Sydney-Melbourne Touring for making sure said bus went to all the best places!

Breaker Morant

We are excited to be working with Reel DVD on the release of the iconic Australian film Breaker Morant, which will be released this coming October 7 on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Based on a true story, Breaker Morant is regarded as one of Australia’s most iconic war stories, and the re-release of the DVD is bringing it back to life as it’s never been seen before, digitally remastered in High Definition with 5.1 surround sound.

Hi there!

My name is Jess and I’m Happy To Help at Klick for the month of August. I’m currently in my final semester of a communications (public relations) degree with Charles Sturt University and am ecstatic to be leaving behind the world of bartending, coffee making and clothes hanging in search of a fabulous public relations career.

In my (almost!) 21 years I have developed an addiction to coffee, sleeping in, jeans, good books and disdain public transport, bad weather when trying to get to public transport and dirty socks. I’m happiest when in good company with good conversation and hope to use my PR skills for the good of mankind… Like a superhero but without the undies-on-the-outside bit.
